Hello everyone 

I tried using the Swissair livery for CLS 747-300. I did everything like always put text with number in aircraft.cfg put the livery folder into aircraft folder but still nothing working

 

Is the aircraft showing on your select aircraft page?  Do you have what I show in the red circles?

If you have tried everything that Charlie suggested and you still can't find it, then you also need to carefully check everything in the aircraft.cfg, ideally comparing it with the cfg of a CLS 747-300 that is showing up on the Select Aircraft menu. Even something as simple as a missing bracket around the fltsim entry can cause a failure of the aircraft livery to appear.

@scianoirthe text is different to the normal. Like there are sentences on other position maybe because file form 2008

I don't think that the (sim=) between the 2 can be different!

I would check all of the other [fltsim.xx] and make sure the sim=  for the addon texture matches
all of them.

The "sim=" was different to the other "fltsim" files so I changed it to CLS_747-300 but I still can’t see the Swissair livery yet.

This has missing parameters. Copy from above. 

 

There are so many differences I'd either just copy a working one to a new section with the changed fltsim.x number and then ONLY change one line at a time starting with the TEXTURE entries then panel after checking they are correct and have corresponding folders on disc. See above for example.

I changed the entire text and now I got the livery! But there are still problems… no thumbnail… the title is messed up… and why is the entire cockpit black?

Flaps and gear are also plain black 

I don’t have any lights except for passenger cabin lights which are cut off in the middle of the plane.

Not sure it will work having them all on the same line! If you haven't done so already try:

I made it all seperate now. But I still don’t have lights and black cockpit

I've had black cockpits in the past when I have tried to install an FS2004 livery to an FSX aircraft! Assuming you haven't done that, check the texture folder for the Swissair livery and compare it with the texture folder of a CLS 747-300 that works correctly for you in FSX and see if there seems to be any missing files.
