Can confirm I have GAIST showing ships in MSFS2024 with the settings below :

 

Online > Aircraft Traffic Type : Off

Graphics > Sea Traffic : High

Object LOD from 45 to 150 but I don't think it matters, visibility is far better than with built-in "Real-Time" sea traffic
