February 6, 20251 yr Since FS24 runs so smoothly (for the most part), increasing traffic and using higher density airports got me wondering....is there still an object limit like in 2020? AMD 9950X3D | 64 GB RAM | RTX 5090 FMR: 747 FO, 757/767 CAPT, 737 Check Airman Current 777 CAPT
February 6, 20251 yr The jury is still out if there ever was (is) a hard-coded simobject limit. Asobo claims it was a simconnect issue with too many requests while injecting the objects, despite many developers spawning their simobjects through a bgl file. With the new, overly aggressive LOD system, rendering only half of an object 100ft away from you. I wonder if it really matters anymore............. Regards, Kendall 7800X3D/G.B. February 6, 20251 yr I think the object limit is probably so high now, that it would probably take a lot more than most of us have in our community folder to break it. However, I'm sure that there still is a limit. In MSFS, ASOBO did an update that doubled it as they found a simple solution (may Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
