I recently did a night flight from New York to Palm Beach in the Project Airbus A321 NEO (under the Delta Airlines livery) by Chris Evans (illustrated in one of the included screenshots) and upon landing I noticed that the landing lights weren't illuminating the runway at all, even though the switch was on. Upon switching to an exterior view of the aircraft, I discovered that the landing light only illuminates a small area immediately in front of the aircraft. I have posted a copy of the electrical section of the aircraft config file for reference  http://C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Desktop\Screenshots\Screenshot 2025-02-06 160040.pnghttp://C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Desktop\Screenshots\Screenshot 2025-02-06 152024.pnghttp://C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Desktop\Screenshots\Screenshot 2025-02-09 124444.png

Still 👎

The landing and taxi lights are part of the model.  You may have to substitute
the spotlight.bmp in the texture folder of FSX.

what do you mean by substituting the spotlight bmp? I don't quite understand what that has to do with this specific aircraft I am trying to solve the problem with Update: I also just realized that one of the images I posted above were only partially showing up after copying them, so I am gonna post it again: Screenshot 2025-02-09 124444.png Here's the effects, lights, and electrical sections from the A321 NEO config.

Your [lights] section makes no reference to the Landing Lights or Taxi Lights on the aircraft.
they are hard-coded and part of the aircraft model.

The [electrical] section only refers to where the electricity comes from to power different
electrical devices.

The Spotlight.bmp (in FSX Main Texture Folder) is the image of light that is used to define how the Landing and Taxi lights look on the ground.

I tried your suggestion, and this fix unfortunately didn't work and now the landing light just barely casts a thin, ropelike glow immediately in front of the aircraft but still doesn't illuminate the runway at all. Any other suggestions? Or should I contact the developer?

There is a little box in the FSX settings, "Landing light illuminates ground", make sure that is checked.
