  1. Hey, I hope somebody can help me out with this. I have been having a problem for weeks with a 2d 757/767 panel on the Project Opensky 757/767 series aircraft. This aircraft package that I downloaded consisted of the following aircraft: Project Opensky 757-200/300 & 767-200/300/400. I got them from Simviation.com, along with a 2d panel for these aircraft that was designed by G. Munro. Here's a description of the issue I am having. I am able to work the Nav 1 & 2 frequencies for this panel on the Boeing 757-200, but on the 757-300 & 767-300, I recently found out that I was unable to change the Nav 1 & 2 frequencies. I have requested help from another forum, but I still have been unable to fix this. I have provided a copy of the panel cfg. files from the problem aircraft. Hopefully someone can help me out with this. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuWqP9oV1UtliOF__bW7W6vD3YJCwg?e=SwTCe5
  2. I think that slowly but surely, I am starting to get the hang of how this aircraft works...fingers crossed
  3. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I press the center AP button to engage the autopilot.
  4. Hey, I seem to be having trouble getting the autopilot on the Project Airbus A330-300 FD-FMC to work properly. When I try to use any of the autopilot functions (i.e. altitude hold, airspeed hold, heading/NAV hold, etc.) they won't hold the aircraft at my selected airspeed or heading. When I try to engage the altitude hold switch, the aircraft doesn't hold altitude, not to mention some buttons on the FMC aren't clickable. Here's where I got this download from: https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=A330+FMC&categoryId=&page=3&filename= https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuWqP9oV1UtliKorZsWUuEuZdq4G5g?e=48UTBq
  5. That's true. I appreciate everyone's help, even though I was able to solve this on my own.
  6. Hey, guys. I think you gave me some pretty good suggestions, I will try rcbarend's suggestion and see if it helps.
  7. I am currently in the process of trying to do a flight from Los Angeles-Tahiti on Thomas Ruth's A340-300, and just yesterday discovered that I couldn't get the autopilot to maintain my selected airspeed of 280 knots. When the Speed Hold switch is engaged, my airspeed doesn't increase or slowly begins to decrease. I don't know what could be causing this issue, and I tried reducing some of the aircraft's payload, thinking that was the problem, but no such luck. I have a copy of the autopilot section of the aircraft cfg. file for this aircraft, if anyone needs that: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuWqP9oV1Utlh7xQ-Euw4V6xNfK0dA?e=Y1cDqw
  8. hey, guys, sorry for the late response. Been busy lately. I installed some updates in Windows 10 that fixed the issue, and FSX no longer repeatedly crashes.
  9. I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but starting last Friday, yesterday, and today, my flight simulator X has crashed multiple times with this error message: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuWqP9oV1Utlhv5Ip_oLjcSgzYx-Zw?e=PORgpv. This usually happens shortly after takeoff and every ten to fifteen minutes during flight. I think this started happening after some recent updates were installed on Windows 10. Unfortunately, I can't do a system restore if this is an update problem, because I recently deleted some restore points to free up disk space. So I hope this isn't an update issue. I don't know where this is coming from or what to do about it. I don't want to have to reinstall my whole operating system or my flight simulator from scratch. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here are the log files from my recent crashes (from yesterday and today only; apologies if these log files are too long to read), along with my system specs: https://1drv.ms/t/s!AuWqP9oV1Utlhv5JxPB7vOD4V5uPuQ?e=oHgAMH, https://1drv.ms/t/s!AuWqP9oV1Utlhv5LUDkccL4yI17a7Q?e=7Awk2r Evan Popchock😁
  10. I will definitely try that next time this problem occurs.
  11. I tried these steps, as the guide suggested, but it didn't help, so I had to delete my saved work and start over: "Delete wxstationlist.bin (in sim’s main folder in the Weather folder and in the same hidden folder where the sim’s config) and default .wx (in the Documents\your flight simulator files folder) associated with your default flight (usually ‘Previous Flight.wx’. They will be rebuilt." I have not tried this, because I am not sure that these instructions apply to my FSGlobal Real Weather engine: "If you have a commercial weather program that has cloud textures or a program that furnishes cloud textures such as REX, FEX: Try lowering settings in REX/FEX and DX5 compression and lower textures to 512 or 1024. This coupled with high settings in your respective simulator’s settings may produce this crash. If you have texture programs like REX/FEX, try reinstalling the theme or textures. you selected."
  12. I am having this same problem today, after I saved my work from a flight yesterday. Today, I tried to pick up where I left off, and my FSX keeps giving me a CTD with error module beling listed as weather.dll. This also happened to me a couple months ago when I was doing a flight from Los Angeles to Hawaii's Big Island. I use FSGlobal Real Weather.
  13. well after doing my research, I have decided that FSGRW may be better for me, because it would be far too complicated for me to use AS2016. and as a person who just likes to go ahead and fly after installing something, FSGRW is what I am going with.
  14. so you're saying that FSGRW is better than AS2016?
