February 12, 20251 yr Shalom and greetings all my pals, Is the following specification list good for MS2024, please?? Thank you for any comment any of you might provide. I am planning to buy powerful gaming laptop. Tech Specs Processor Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 185H (24 MB cache, 16 cores, 2.30 GHz to 5.10 GHz P-Core Turbo) Operating System Windows 11 Home, English, French, Spanish Graphics Card NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060, 8 GB GDDR6 Display 16", QHD+ 2560x1600, 240Hz, 100% sRGB, 3ms, Advanced Optimus, ComfortView Plus, NVIDIA G-SYNC Memory 64GB, 2x32GB, DDR5, 5600 MT/s Storage 4 TB, M.2, PCIe NVMe, SSD Regards, Aharon
February 12, 20251 yr Not sure about the cpu but the RTX 4060 seems a little lite for MSFS 2024, with any significant addons. Win 11 pro 64Bit, X670 AORUS ELITE AX, Ryzen 7 7800x3d, RTX 4080, 64Gig G-Skill 6000 DDR 5, Samsung 990 pro 2TB NVME.
February 12, 20251 yr I have a similar Laptop which uses the same processor of Processor Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 185. I think the laptop that handles MSFS 2024, much better than my Alienware Gaming Laptop.
February 13, 20251 yr Desktop 4060 is a bit weak for 2K (2560 x 1440). And your laptop has a bit more resolution. And 4060 Mobile is a bit weaker than its desktop version. MSFS will run, but I don't know about addons. Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. What a godsend...Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro).
