March 22, 20251 yr Very concise and informative videos / streams: Airbus Cockpit Coach - YouTube Learning to fly gliders since 1980Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)
March 22, 20251 yr Thanks for sharing. Watched the a320 take off video and found it interesting he turned off packs just before taking off and turned them back on during climb. Never seen that before with any of the checklists I have. Had to google why and found the reason quite interesting.

Most (if not all) Airbus operators turn the packs off to be able to use a higher FLEX for takeoff (and consequently save engine life).
