I am going from a 3080 to a 5070TI. Does anyone know of a guide on how to configure a 5070TI using the nvidia control panel and the nVidia app? Its very confusing and I understand the relationship between the 2 being you can adjust things like Power etc in both. But then there are new setting in the nVidia app like the DLSS override settings. I mainly use TAA in the past because of ghosting. I may be making harder than it is.

I would simply install it and see how it goes.

I have the Nvidia app but I only use it for Shadowplay as I enjoy making videos and I let it install new drivers and that's it.

I'd stay well away from letting it 'optimise' your settings and for the time being I wouldn't worry about DLSS settings either.

Same goes for Nvidia control panel. I used to dabble but quite frankly the graphics options in the sim itself are your most powerful and versatile tools.

install latest drivers

profit.

messing about with the nvidia panel is just an effort in futility that results in very little benefit. If you want there’s always lossless scaling. Just my thoughts.
