From my (limited) experience with this PMS unit, it uses the Working Title flight planning convention of Departure airport, Destination airport, and then enroute waypoints. This is not the "Garmin way".. The TDS unit uses the Garmin convention of a string of waypoints, starting with the Departure airport which is filled in by the unit based on your location, followed by a string of waypoints. The last waypoint is interpreted as the Destination. Bert
April 30, 20251 yr Author Thanks Bert As the TDS costs money up front, I wanted to use something to evaluate it before committing (the PMS has a free limited version available) plus I am no pilot and wouldn't know the difference or even be bothered. At 79 years old there is no way I could learn how to even get a restricted pilot license or even trust myself. I now have the (PMS) GTN750 working to my satisfaction thanks to every one's input. BTW I was interested where CAM3 is located and now see that I may have passed though Duncam on my way to Victoria from Chemainus on a trip around those parts.
