May 1, 20251 yr Saw this on Asobo forum today. WFM. It might WFY! Try it. Why is Raytracing using 2.1GB of VRAM? Surely this can be optimised by Asobo? (Turn It Off) https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/su2-beta-general-feedback/713060/2772
May 1, 20251 yr Good tip, this isn't new to SU2 though, RayTracing has been one of the biggest VRAM hogs since release I believe, been this way since I installed. One of the first things to be disabled on my end and that is with a 4090. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
May 1, 20251 yr Ray tracing was the straw that broke my 4080s back. Once I turned it off I never really had VRAM issues again. Surely this can be optimised by Asobo? No, that's normal for a lot of games that use it. Edited May 2, 20251 yr by Tuskin38
