Got 2024? Got SU2 Beta? Got Low VRAM? Try This

Featured Replies

Good tip, this isn't new to SU2 though, RayTracing has been one of the biggest VRAM hogs since release I believe, been this way since I installed.

One of the first things to be disabled on my end and that is with a 4090.

Ray tracing was the straw that broke my 4080s back.  Once I turned it off I never really had VRAM issues again.

I never had vram issues with it until SU2

It looks so good though ugh

I'm not seeing any FPS difference on my end toggling it on and off

Why is Raytracing using 2.1GB of VRAM? Surely this can be optimised by Asobo?

No, that's normal for a lot of games that use it.
