May 17, 20251 yr I was flying 2024 and about 15 min. into it with all its glory, My Pc just shut off, as if the power went off, plug got pulled, etc.... The PSU is only about 3 weeks old. It is a CORSAIR RM850e (2025) Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply with 12V-2x6 Cable – ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Compliant, Cybenetics Gold Efficiency, 105°C-Rated Capacitors, Modern Standby Mode. Could this be the culprit? I have a back up 750 but , looking for some thoughts on this. Like i said, First time it has ever happened to me. May 17, 20251 yr Author Only the pc shut off. Power everywhere else in the house. It was a WTH moment. it booted right back up. Maybe the power supply had momentary lapse of reason? Going to see what happens next flight. It just caught me off guard. May 17, 20251 yr Power supplies can abruptly die. I had one with a few years use on it go "pop" when I turned on the computer. My current computer failed to start at all just a couple weeks after I bought it. Sometimes they give warnings before they fail, like random reboots. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
