i think it might be 40 fps + spacewarp from looking at the wobble around the prop. Does vd show raw frames before sw?  quite a bit of foveated rendering on right hand side of view (right eye of VR we are watching?)

but agree, it's nice to be getting even that 🙂

I am new to VR and just purchased a Quest 3, on a similar system as yours. (i5 13600, 64 Ram, 5070Ti Gpu)  My first  2024 VR experience is dissapointing as I can see low quality ground scenery, and very difficult to read cockpit instrument numbers and legends which are almost unreadable with DLSS and a little better with TAA, and so also jerky movements.- My config for 2D is TAA, DLSS FG x 3, fps capped at 35, Olod and Tlod both 200, and all the rest at ultra, and it rans as smooth as silk.-  Maybe my VR settings are wrong , although I relaxed them from ultra to high or medium, and Olod and Tlod to 100.- So I should be gratefull if you share your VR settings - Thanks

All my current settings are here. My PCL will not get as many fps as your Q3, yours will perform better.

I would not be happy if I locked my fps at 35 in VR. My system is good enough (it's plenty good enough in 2D 1440p (2560 x 1440), but not in VR (5760 x 2880). I'm locked at 24. If I had your system I could lock higher. Locking is the key because it prevents the fps from wandering all around (stuttering). Ever system has a highest lock point that makes sense for that system.

A true G-Sync computer monitor would expand the opportunities a lot, I'm guessing. But not very much if 2D is G-sync locked and you are watching in VR.

None of my results and settings apply any more. Because half hour ago MS released the SU4 beta. My performance is now enormously improved in VR. People in the SU4 thread seems to have same experience!
