May 29, 20251 yr This whole default/dynamic registration is driving me nuts. I have PMDG's 777-200ER installed, i got a few liveries for it and went on to configure the aircraft in order to obtain a default configuration which i use across all my fleet - I don't care about "operator realism", so i want just a single one. The problem here is that when i select one model and want to save the config as default, instead of gettting a save with the CS-TSX registration which is the aircraft i'm using, i am getting a CR-DOH which is this dynamic thing generated by the simulator. Does anyone know how can i stop this from happening? It also paints this default registration on the SWS Pilatus PC-12 which now shows TWO registrations - This default one and the one i painted in the livery. I wonder who has these silly ideas and, again, doesn't make them OPTIONAL so that we can get rid of them. Any help is appreciated, thanks! May 29, 20251 yr Modify the ATC ID Parameter: Some users have found that setting the atc_id parameter in the aircraft configuration file to a specific registration can override the dynamic assignment. Use the Flight Number Field: A trick involves placing a comma in the airline field and then entering the desired tail number in the flight number field. This forces ATC to use the correct registration. Editing the Livery Configuration: If you're using custom liveries, some developers have managed to hide dynamic registrations by tweaking the livery.cfg file. Community Mods & Scripts: Some users have developed PowerShell scripts to automate the process of setting static registrations, but these may not work with the new format introduced in FS 2024. This being said I don't make the slightest idea what this actually is because I would be glad enough if when importing a flightplan from SimBrief by pasting it into the built in FS 2024 EFB, or using the integrated SimBrief "plugin", I could set a FL different from FL123 for my airliner flights 😞 because it always forces that one as the max possible cruise FL and I have no other option than exporting it to the ATC ( when using defualt FS 2024 ATC for beta testing, and **yes** even disabling that "AUTO" option for the Cruise FL assignment ) and then contacting Center and asking for successive higher FLs to get to my planned cruise FL... Thingies that exist in a sim where lozzza interesting stuff was poored in but unfortunaletly those that did it surely understand even less than I do about various aviation fields.... May 29, 20251 yr Author Nothing works, i tried all trickery editing atc_alrline, atc_id etc etc and the thing just keeps defaulting to CR-DOH somehow. Sad. May 29, 20251 yr Author I am not using the default ATC (God forbid...), i fly on IVAO only, the thing that annoys me is once again lack of control over things i don't want to happen such as these double registrations or commercial aircraft such as PMDG's (only some liveries) not being recognized as having a registration. February 14Feb 14 Author This is still happening today. Unacceptable. I just bought FSS's B727 freighter, loaded up a beautiful FEDEX model, lo and behold.... Reg number is "CR-DOH" written right there on the B727's tail and cockpit. Doh indeed! How do i get rid of this, this is ridiculous! February 14Feb 14 I may have misunderstood your issue, but doesn't the 'Identification' tab when you configure the aircraft work? When I change liveries, I just change the identification and it appears on the aircraft and and the cockpit plate. 42 minutes ago, Nuno Pinto said: eg number is "CR-DOH" written right there on the B727's tail and cockpit.
