AI traffic disables cockpit sounds in MSFS 2024

Featured Replies

I have this issue too. As soon as I disable BATC the sounds reappear.

I have 12900K and batc set 8-15 AM and Fenix too but does not seem the issue.

Trying now the option to have batc sounds controlled by aircraft VHF sound settings.

Perhaps it will help.

So I tried two new things and now I have cockpit sounds back all the time (so far):

- I'm using AIG models with PSXT (instead of FSLTL)
- I turned AI aircraft volume down to 20

Not sure which of the above made the difference, but it seems to be working now

I use BATC and I deleted all FSLTL sound files, and that fixed the problem for me. No more AI traffic noises, but they were pretty bad to begin with.

Where are those sound files located?
