A319 engine behaviour

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I'm working with A319 for generating some flight trajectories simulations. I was wondering about the behaviour of the engines and their expected values for thrust. In particular which values of inlet compression efficiency and Normal Shock Mach should be set and which value of thrust in the chart "thrust with mach and altitude" is reasonable to expect.

Thank you

I have only see realworld "thrust with mach and altitude" in old Boeing's PEM, Not sure if they would be available for modern jet, the best shot would be in AFM-DPI I guess?

Save yourself the time and just raid the department register to purchase ToLiss' A319 because without any detailed real world data from flight or performance manuals for thrust at various operating points, you're essentially sentenced to weeks of trial & error to dial in realistic engine performance.
