July 6, 2025Jul 6 Hi, I‘m using FlyTampa‘s KLAS and I noticed that the QNH showing in the PSXTraffic window is lower than the actual QNH in the real world METAR and what RealTraffic is displaying. This leads to aircraft touching down before the runway. I checked with other airports, and everything matches correctly there. I just have the issue at KLAS. What could be the reason for this?
July 7, 2025Jul 7 Hi I've traced the weather info coming from RT app at KLA, and it looks like a problem in there. I'll discuss it with Balthasar. Thx for letting me know. Nico Edited July 7, 2025Jul 7 by kiek
July 7, 2025Jul 7 Balthasar: "that's an error in the METAR report" (RT receives) So not much we can do about. Edited July 7, 2025Jul 7 by kiek
December 28, 2025Dec 28 This problem doesn't happen with the glideslope pro KLAS in my experience. Only with flytampa KLAS Marco D'Agostino

Only with flytampa KLAS I know that I've asked you this in PM, but you didn't answer. What does PSXT show as your airport when using GlideslopePro KLAS down in the bottom left corner. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
December 31, 2025Dec 31 Scenery won't or at least shouldn't impact the altimeter setting, but one immediate thing that I noticed was that at 26L in FT KLAS at the TDZ my elevation was something like 2170 feet asl. The Glideslope pro scenery showed me at 2066 which is within 3 feet of the plate. FT KLAS I think is still one elevation across the entire field whereas the Glideslope pro is quite varied. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

I wonder.... If it was possible to manually change the altimeter in PSXT, would that move the touchdown point for the aircraft? Marco D'Agostino

January 1Jan 1 The FlyTampa KLAS is inaccurate elevation wise, it's not PSXT and it's not Real Traffic. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
