Well this is surprising. Most warbird addons are relatively easier in FPS. Will wait for a while then. Thank you. 

Maybe it's just me. But other planes all fly very well. But load up this Zero and I can't hardly complete a flight. Other people might have different experiences with it though. 

This isn't sounding good. 

I love the plane, it is ready to fly in 2024.

Here's what I posted above (I can't edit that post any more).

I see on Youtube some complain of performance. It cut my fps almost in half :(. I can run a couple versions of Airbus liners (like the Fenix). But this is the worst plane for performance hit of any I have ever flown. It also heats up my gpu more than any other plane.

But just now I left the Beta SU3 and reverted to SU2 (it takes about 10 minutes plus I have to reboot immediately after doing the "Leave this Beta" thing in Xbox Insider, another 5 minutes). 

This Zero now flies perfectly and gets really great fast fps. BETA (about 37 fps and gpu heats, and the sim sometimes freezes). SU 2 non BETA (about 58 fps and gpu stays cool and the sim is very stable.

Remember a couple of Beta SU3 updates ago when people suddenly had issues of freezing and CTDs? Well that is what happened again right after the latest 1.5.15.0 on July 9. It only happened with this plane. I'm guessing because this zero does use a lot of resources. The appearance is super detailed. 

BTW, back a couple of SU3 updates ago, I had similar freeze problems. Reverting to SU2 cured it. But then reinstalling the same BETA also resulted in no problems. And remained problem free through new BETA updates 1.5.14.0 SU3. Anyway, I'm guessing if I now rejoin the BETA the problem won't be there any more.

At any rate, in SU2 this Zero is a ton of fun and has no issues with stability or performance. That 58 fps I get above is without using Frame Generation. I can get over 100 with FG on and low settings. With high settings, I'm still going to get like 70 fps with FG on. 

 

 

 

There's something about the BETA updates in msfs2024. When the BETA has another update, then sometimes all is well. But sometimes serious performance problems, and stability problems happen even if the new update is a small one. Leaving and rejoining the BETA seems to cure them. I don't think there's anything wrong with the BETAs, but something goes wrong sometimes when Microsoft installs them (store version 2024).
