July 14, 2025Jul 14 Descending quickly to St-Barth for a pattern exercice: left circuit for runway 28. Done from memory, as a decade ago, my friend local CFI taught me this not-so-common left hand circuit. It's easier to make right circuit for runway 28 when it's not the mythic runway 10. MSFS2024 | SU3 Beta v1.5.16.0 | Free Carenado Piper Dakota | Default scenery and real time MSFS weather. Starting the preferred way, other the field, slightly higher than publised. The standard procedure is offset to the east, entering like a left downwind and flying/slaloming less inside the island: Left base runway 28, in a couple of seconds it's going to be the decision point for the go-around: Turning final runway 28. It's too late for the go-around 😉 The Visual Approach Chart, with procedure with the left hand circuit 28: Vincent B. As far as I know, circuit 28 is left hand "inside the island" (is that your "hill side") or by the sea, right handed. The over "Le col du Calvaire" is the regular way to land on runway 10. Vincent B.
