July 14, 2025Jul 14 Hi, I've done a lot of reading and YT watching and I'm still confused about what's supported in MSFS 2024. I've been going and forth as to whether to invest in the iFly 737 Max, or just stick with the tried and true FBW A320 Neo. I started to lean towards the iFly but when I started looking into the WinWing options, it's very confusing. First question: - Do you need Mobiflight to use these WinWing devices with MS2024 or can you just use their SimAppPro software? AP Panel: - It seems the PAP 3 is supported in MS2024 with the iFly... SimAppPro 1.16.44 release notes: "PAP.N.3N.1.1 device supports 737 MAX with MSF2024." Flightsim.to MobiFlight Profile: https://flightsim.to/file/94175/winwing-pap3-ifly-737-max-8-mobiflight-profile FMC: - There's the PFP3 but it's designed for 737NG not Max so the button labels are not correct. So this is not ideal but it does appear to be supported anyway: SimAppPro 1.16.47 release notes: "PFP3N units support 737 MAX models with MSF2024." No MobiFlight Profile available for 2024 - The closest match for the Max physically is the PFP4, but I can't see any mention of support for it. All of this leads me to think that if I want a fully immersive experience with WinWing gear, I should go with Airbus. Anyone using Boeing and WinWing in MSFS 2024?
August 14, 2025Aug 14 I've been flying the PMDG 777 with the Winwing PFP7; I also have the PFP3 but it doesn't recognize it using Simapp but others who use Mobius have many more options. The PFP3 and PMDG 737 works great in 2020 but it has not yet been released for 2024. That's pretty much the extent of my experience so far. August 15, 2025Aug 15 Author I ended up purchasing a PFP3 and a MCP and both are working fine for me out of the box with v55 of their SimApp Pro software - in the iFly 737. It seems the latest versions have broken support for the PFP3. Their support is dodgy at best. I cannot recommend them - it’s risky stuff.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 I have the airbus MCDU from winwing and have never installed their software. I use spad.next to control it all and create profiles with many different airplanes. It's fantastic 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
August 17, 2025Aug 17 I completely agree with Micstatic—no issues whatsoever with using Spad.Next. I’ve got two 737 CDUs, one 777 CDU, and one A320 MCDU, along with both the Boeing MCP and the Airbus FCU and EFIS. Everything works wonderfully. Absolutely love Winwing gear!
