Thanks.  I guess I might give it a try sometime in the future, but it may be a while before I head (virtually) up that way. 

One of the many things MS/Asobo got right with MSFS is doing a very credible job of color, time of day and season matching of tiles.  Not perfect, but at least in most of the places I fly it's decent.  Going to the map enhancement tool, I fear I'd be right back to the bad old days of badly mis-matched tiles that I know so well from Megascenery Earth products in FSX/P3D days.

Looks like a fun bush trip.  Of course, my original objective was to re-create a flight I've done IRL, but knowing that's still not practical it's good to know about other places to fly in the far NW of North America that DO work well and have good coverage and available freeware airports.
