July 20, 2025Jul 20 When I turn off the IRS selectors in my PMDG 737-600 during shutdown after a flight, they both make a clicking sound (which is perfectly fine). However, about two seconds after I switch off the second IRS selector, I hear another click (which sounds like one of the lights being switched off). Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug? If it is supposed to happen, what is making that sound? July 20, 2025Jul 20 Yaw damper probably, since it uses IRS sensor data to "function". Edited July 20, 2025Jul 20 by SAS443 EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12
July 20, 2025Jul 20 As SAS said. It’s the yaw damper. Edited July 20, 2025Jul 20 by ahsmatt7 FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
