July 21, 2025Jul 21 Just as I began my cross-country hop on IVAO, determined to reach my destination, MSFS2024’s real-time weather decided to throw a massive storm right over the arrival airfield. Had to reroute and fly around the cell to make it in safely. One of those flights you definitely wouldn't want to replicate in real life, but perfect for sharpening your decision-making and weather navigation skills in the sim! Nantes (LFRS) to Rennes (LFRN) Route is reverse on this Skydemon screenshot Just after departing Nantes, on my way to Rennes, they were some clear signs that it won't be a smooth and quiet ride. On my left, weather is way more acceptable for VFR 😉 Weird it's right on my destination airfield! I want to go right My back passenger - without an headset, poor guy - looks nervous 😉 My copilot is focused. Waaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttt ! On charts, it was easy to not starting this flight. On MSFS, it was gorgeous to face this situation. Nantes (LFRS) to Rennes (LFRN) Route is reverse on this Skydemon screenshot Edited July 21, 2025Jul 21 by vbazillio Vincent B. July 24, 2025Jul 24 Wonderful and exciting...Looks like you threaded the needle in the airspace...And, yes, I'm glad you're in the comfort of the home for this one...🙂... (I don't blame the backseat passenger...he surely needs those dark glasses in these fearsome lightnings ...) ...
