pauses?

Featured Replies

I have searched for something to do with pauses while running FSX. So my question is this. My system runs FSX great, however I have noticed a very short pause when running in the full screen mode. Just enough to really bug ya. Would anyone have any idea what the problem may be?CPU..Intel Q6600 overclocked to 3.01Video card...Nvidia GeForce 260GTXWindows Vista Ultimate 64bit.OCZ DDR3 GB x2 for a total of 4 GB. Sounds like something is running in the background. Shut down everything you don't need; email, AV, and the like. Another idea could be that even with your system, you may need to back off a few sliders. AI can be a killer, screen resolution,autogen....etc.Bob

Yes I do Roger. Don't know why I didn't think of that. Never had the problem before that. I will turn it off and see what happens. Thanks for your help all. Bob G.
