Shadows gone (in the Vision Jet)...?

Featured Replies

After not playing MSFS2024 for a while I came back to it (SU3 beta) and noticed something odd with the shadows in the VJ cockpit. It's as if some shadows aren't there anymore. I am currently doing a flight underneath the clouds and I am missing a lot of contrast. Just look at the gear lever and the various knobs beside the CGI's.

Is there something I am missing here or...?

Asks about shadows being absent- Posts a picture with a clearly defined shadow on the co pilot seat.

My kind of humour. 😉

Check shadows in setup.  You may have settings too low or insufficient.  Good luck and Blue Skies.

All my (relevant) settings are High so... I didn't change anything.

It's as if a layer of shadows is missing. Hard to explain what it is...

Problem solved! Uninstalled the beta, reinstalled the beta and all is fine again! 🙂

Oh, bummer... I just noticed I still had the beta uninstalled... So I enabled the beta again and now everything looks weird and odd again. Shoot. I really hope this gets solved before the final release of SU3...
