July 29, 2025Jul 29 Hi, I’m just learning the 737 Max, and wondering if someone has a checklist they would recommend that is not super realistic real-world, but streamlined for sim use… in other words, doesn’t include the stuff that’s pointless to check like fire tests, or other tests? EDIT… ignore this… I see someone else just asked this. Also, what is the current situation with saving panel states? Do they work ok? Does anyone have a turnaround state they can share? Lastly, is FS2Crew worth it? Does it help with immersion and getting the plane ready to roll? Edited July 29, 2025Jul 29 by Virtual-Chris
July 29, 2025Jul 29 https://public.kuperkorner.net/airplane_stockpile/B737/ check out this link for a bunch of 737 stuff. The Max has a few differences to the NG but of course infamously shares the same Type Rating so the checklist is the same. For panel states, use @Stearmandriver's hack which is as follows: - spawn it on the runway so the engines will be running with flaps set and the APU running. Make sure the parking brake is set. - use GSX to teleport yourself to a gate of your choosing - shut down the engines and put the aircraft in the turnaround state and set the fuel to a realistic value for the end of a flight, I use 3600kg. (flaps up, fuel pumps, window heat, seat belts, lights etc OFF) - Save that state in the EFB load/save section as you wish, I have 3 different ones - on GPU, on APU, and on GPU with the IRS not aligned with doors opened/shut as appropriate. Once you've done all that, make sure you spawn on the runway when you load the Max and teleport with GSX to the gate you need. Set the brake and retract the flaps. Then just load the panel state that you want you're set.
July 29, 2025Jul 29 I think FS2crew is worth it, i usually don't fly the jets without it. It takes the workload off, for example on takeoff the F/O will take care of the gear, flaps when you call for it. I have a checklist in excel format specifically designed to work with FS2Crew. Does have tests in it but you can easily skip over those or delete them yourself. If your interested let me know.

I’m likely going to have to create my own, so this will help save some time. Cheers!
