I think there is a speaker icon in the upper right of the screen. Click on it.

HiIf you want to eliminate the music totally you can replace the uimusic files in the fsx/sound folder with blank .wav files. I believe there's an early fsx add-on that does replace these files. If HD space is an issue you can free up some of it this way. I remember something too about the music files running in the background even though they're turned off/down... not sure if this was addresses in sp1 or 2. Alternatively you can replace the .wav files with whatever music/sound you like, just label them as the original files are labeled.Jerry
