I purchased this addon through MSFS24 thinking they had checked it out before putting in their sim....

Nope

 totally blurred runways/taxiways, nicely depicted buildings though, terrain a total dissapointment

MSFS thinks this is a sellable item >>????   So it must be me

 

Anyone find a solution to this mess?

Do you have Dynamic Settings turned on?

Dynamic Settings will make your textures worse, it doesn't make it better, if your target FPS is too high.  So if you are not happy with the textures, definitely keep Dynamic Settings off.

I will add that I have CYYC from FSimStudios. I believe I tried it in MSFS 2024, but that was last year, I haven't flown CYYC for a while.  I don't recall poor textures for the runway, after I let MSFS 2024 load for a while. Like any airport, when the plane spawns, give MSFS 2024 a few minutes to load the surroundings and textures.  A lot of airports start out with poor textures when you spawn, because MSFS is trying to load them in.  But the FPS and textures improve for me, after a few minutes after I spawn in, and then I start flying then.

I had no planes to spawn, and waited minutes for textures that never materialized to anything. This is a landing scenario. Spawning from scratch is a bit better I know.

I just thought since Aboso checks these packages out before listing them in Marketplace for 2024 ..... well I think too much and figured I am not using it right. Then again they are known for selling products that are not ready. I would take a refund if i could

 a complete BLURR

I bought direct from the vendor and don’t have these issues.

True, it is now better with it on streamed mode, I had it installed, which I now uninstalled

Now its the taxiways lines that are blurred, not the whole terrain. Nicer but not great

Its an Aboso issue with streaming, so wait till xmax for that

Basically, its MSFS 2024 that is lacking 

I went into 2020 and CYYC is perfect.

Is there a way of getting the vendor's version without cash since i already bought through

a broken marketplace

 

I have this scenery for 2020, it is very hard on performance and Vram.
