I've just checked, and apparently certain Ecoflow batteries do have anti-islanding protection. 

Wind power is looking to be the preferred source with latest work hoping to hit Betz limit of 59% efficiency.

Add that to a solar array and some of these new battery developments and you can kiss pollution and our losing battle with our environment good-bye with limitless energy (well about 5 Billion years worth until the sun goes Supernova):

The U.S. gets 16% of its electricity from coal, 43% from natural gas, 21% from renewables, and 18% from nuclear.

China is going to peak C02 emissions by 2030 and be entire carbon neutral by 2060 … hence the massive build and infrastructure change from coal to solar and wind (this doesn’t happen overnight, it’s takes planning to transition).

Well, yes, many YouTubers do this full time and earn a living.

The question is if the information they provide is factual. And in his case I find nothing counterfactual.

Some very interesting real technology currently active and with the development of new battery technology I think we’ll see the eventual end to high C02 producing flight.  Although jets based on oil products can be relatively efficient reaching equivalent of 100-120 mpg per person … but the C02 they dump at high altitude is very bad for sustainable life.

Solid State seems to be the current trend for 2025 onwards, but more battery tech is coming.  I can see a very near future of personal wind mills and solar arrays and latest battery tech to completely remove any grid reliance and energy generation that is 99% pollution free.

Did you also see the solid state battery cycle duration looking at 20 years before it needs to be recycled?!

Sodium Ion, Lithium Sulfer, Graphene, Zinc Air. And much more - like novel cathode materials, 3D electrodes, metal free current collectors etc. 

 

20 years...  Lithium Ion are designed to last 300,000 to 500,000 miles or 1500 charge cycles. Something like 22 to 37 years of driving. Then on to become second life batteries.

There are new perovskite solar cells that are duel layer. Perovskite tandem cells are believed to be capable of 40% plus efficiency. Current record for

Perovskite-Silicone Tandem is 34.85%. For Perovskite-Perovskite Tandem is 30.1%.
