    Very grateful to everyone for their input. It looks like I will buy XP12 directly from Laminar Research rather than use a third party, not that I have anything against Steam. FSX, FS2020 and lossless

    While I do have Steam for a few sims that are only available there, I personally bought all my copies of XP direct from Laminar Research. More money for them to continue developing XP.
