Coming January. 3 part series. Lawhead's book trilogy (Taliesin, Merlin, Arthur)  were based on the Welsh ballads which gave rise to the King Arthur tales, combined with Plato's description of Atlantis being "beyond the Gates of Hercules (Gibraltar)". Lawhead chose Crete as his Atlantis.

The filming described in video below is all early Lawhead, i.e. the first book (Taliesin).

Fine and dandy for the Spanish pros. But I know in the first book, Rose becomes a celebrity in Knossos as a female bull-leaper trainee who tries to rise up into the standings of the sport. Taliesin becoming her love interest. Without giving spoilers, the pair flee to Cornwall in Britain where the Arthur saga develops. 

My concern is: did Rose actually jump the bulls too, while making the film?? I would guess, surely not!!

I've never read the books, but probably will now.  I didn't know about this author.

Looking forward to the TV series.  Just hope it doesn't go wo**.
