November 2, 2025Nov 2 A few initial shots from my experimental re-installation of my old P3D systems, which I thought I'd try purely to use some of those older aircraft that I don't expect to see coming to MSFS any time soon (or ever). Not my usual 4k hi-res shots as I'm also experimenting with image hosting now that imgur has gone from the UK. One of my all time faves first - This beastie is out of EGMC, my "home town" (well, childhood town, anyway) and I do remember seeing them there And yes, I do have one of these for MSFS but I like this version better An Airfix moment And another major favourite. I would dearly love to see this done for MSFS. An amazing aircraft. This is a rehash of the original UKMil model, done with their permission a good few years ago now. I've also gone even further back and am getting my FSX/SE system sorted out again, for those planes that never even ported into P3D successfully. Obviously not MSFS levels of visuals, but I'm using True Earth and Active Sky/Rex so if I'm careful about location and weather it works ok. And not a PG vegetation obelisk to be seen anywhere! Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
