November 20, 2025Nov 20 This just started today in both MSFS 2024 and 2020. The gear warning sound in all aircraft (that have landing gear) stays on after takeoff when I retact the gear--in every aircraft at any altitude. Unless I put the gear down at any altitude, it starts again. The warning sound keeps going even after I've terminated the flight in midflight, and stays on until I select a different aircraft for freeflight. Then it it happens again--any aircraft. What is going on? Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

I just boot up MSFS 2024 and use it, unless a banner shows up saying an update is required. Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

November 20, 2025Nov 20 Do you have a controls conflict? And before you say "no" keep in mind that I have seen the sim butcher bindings that I've previously set (they're cloud-stored). Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Been flying for several hours off/on and haven't experienced this except for the avro when i didnt switch my profile over to it. It wasnt the gear warning but AP disconnected needing to be bound to the ap disconnected on my alpha yoke. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

That's the thing though -- isn't the sim (24) supposed to automatically switch your control profiles? Sometimes I have had to manually switch controls profiles when switching planes or even starting a plane I've flown many times, but sometimes it works perfectly and switches them automatically. Haven't figured out what makes it work some times and not other times. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Annoying extra step but it prevents me for getting angry. 😁 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
November 21, 2025Nov 21 Author SOLVED!! I run MSFS networked with a second computer. The second computer runs Air Manager on two screens. For some reason Windows 11 changed the sound settings on the second computer so that one of the two monitors sound was turned on. Was hard to tell it was on because I use an external surround sound system as the main speakers for MSFS, which pretty much fills the room. I turned off the sound for MSFS, but the beeping continued! Determined it was coming from one of the monitors of the second computer. Apparently Air Manager's settings didn't turn off the beeping when I put the gear up, so I just turned the monitor's sound off. Problem solved :).
