January 1Jan 1 Hello to All and Happy, Healthy, 2026 Any advise please why so suddenly while i load a flight the airport has Pink Colors everywhere? Any Advise please while i did not change anything Thank you?
January 1Jan 1 The airport is third party? It likely needs an update. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Can you confirm that the airport in question is definitely stated as being compatible with MSFS 2024? Some sceneries made for MSFS 2020 can have this issue because they might refer to textures, libraries or matierals that aren't used in MSFS 2024. Change to a lower LOD in graphics settings, resolved (but NOT want I wanted to do). 2. Ran the same exact test but using AMD 9070XT GPU and there was no issue. 3. Zoom Out and then Zoom In and sometimes that clears up the issue. I can't say for sure if this is a "compatibility" issue with MSFS 2020 native airports in MSFS 2024 ... OR if this is an MS/Asobo issue? I have seen this issue in "default" airports that came with MSFS 2024 ... perhaps they were not updated to the LOD requirements for MSFS 2024 but included in the release? Not really sure. The really odd part was that my AMD 9070XT GPU didn't experience the issue at all ... in any of the airports that my nVidia 5090 did experience ... so very odd. Maybe AMD hardware does LOD processing with or without more than one LOD? As pointed out, another item to check is to make sure you don't have multiple airports installed for the same location. FYI, pink textures could also mean the textures just aren't loading, not missing, just not loading ... which can be a result of the MSFS 2024 LOD changes. But that doesn't really explain why my AMD GPU didn't exhibit the problem ... if it were a missing file that should be evident in both GPUs not just nVidia. Agree that it is NOT widespread, but I have see it at default airports ... if I come across it again, I'll take note of the airport. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

Yeah, keep track of which airports so we can also check 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
