A Carbon Cub UL (ultralight).  Rotax engine. First deliveries in 2025

In the video, he took it to 37,609' from San Luis Obispo airport. Pretty amazing. I dson't know what the record was for. Maybe altitude for ultralight?

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Incredible video, thanks Noel.  Rarely do I watch almost an entire video of this length.  I did watch the entire flight portion.  > FL37 in a Cub, pretty daring.

This plane makes me wish I was younger and had a spare $600,000 or so.  For now, I'll just sit back and enjoy the videos.

Me too.  I'd love to fly the Carbon Cub.

Flying at 37,000' MSL is great in a pressurized, climate controlled aircraft, but I have no desire to be at that altitude without pressurization and a nicely heated cabin.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
