January 25Jan 25 Pretty much any add-on that operates outside of the sim has to use SimConnect to make calls for the simulator to do something, so yes, LittleNavMap, ActiveSky, Navigraph, any traffic injector, etc. also uses SimConnect. I actually had CTDs only when I was using an outdated version of LNM, where if I had left LNM open at a large airport for a long period of time, I'd get a CTD. Those went away when I updated LNM though (but I rarely use it for my flights) I primarily only use GSX, PSXT, and Navigraph. PSXT has been very stable for me for months at this point, and it works for me for airports large and small. My recent flights have been to/from: EBBR, KIAD, LSZH, KLAX, KSEA, KMIA, LTFM, KDEN with no stability issues

In this situation PSXT is handling the error and is acting as it should, just like any real time program that must continue to run. January 25Jan 25 Author On the other hand, BATC injects pretty much the same amount of static traffic (much less active/live) as PSXT does, and BATC does not have range limits, hence sometimes I'm having 200+ AI planes in the NY area and both BATC and the sim are stable, and there are no either restarts or AI related crashes. I have AIG only and do not mix it with either FSTL or other traffic programs. PSXT sends the positions of all aircraft via SimConnect once per frame. So the higher your FPS, the more load you put on SimConnect. I’m using frame generation (or whatever they call it): it shows a very stable 60 FPS, but in reality it’s 30. So I’d expect PSXT to update no more than 30 times per second.

For large hubs I have TLOD=50 on the ground vs. 275 after 5,000 ft. And OLOD =200 on the ground and 20 after 10,000ft . Works well, save some FPS and especially VRAM. No FrameGen (otherwise VRAM will be hurt), TAA method.
