I don’t engage in (virtual) aerobatics much any more…🙂

But, yes, I flew along the Sion valley, steadily cruising along and gently climbing, and it was very responsive and easy to fly level.

Will fly some more today…a few hours still left on my trial 24-hour period..

I don’t think it has elevator trim, could be mistaken ,but there was no trim response when I used my usual trim switch.
I thought that would probably be the case with something so small so haven’t investigated further.

It has such a small speed range, it sits quite nicely in straight and level flight at 60 mph. There’s a marked pitch up when opening the throttle from cruise to full power , which I  like.

jon, yes, it flew very well straight and level, around 60 mph for my test flight. I didn’t look specifically for a trim control.

However, I’ve since seen videos with an elevator trim control in the cockpit.

Yes, at full power, it’s a feisty one indeed, whether on the ground or in the air…

I‘ll examine that video and the trim control, some more…

Yes, just watching a Simhanger review where he mentions the trim, I’ll try and find it later when I go flying.

I had thought it was so small with such a narrow speed band it wouldn’t need trim, or it was a fixed trim tab that you bent to requirement pre flight.

i should probably seek out the manual and give it a read to see what else I’ve missed, Mark at Simhanger also mentioned a dial for the vibration effects which sounded interesting.

edit: found it

I’ve been setting the sim time for mid June, 8:30 in the evening with zero wind to recreate a balmy summer’s evening in Britain which feels like the perfect time and place to be up in this thing floating around at 60 mph   1000ft up enjoying the scenery.

As an homebuilt aircraft everything can be, but the ones I've seen, same as similar small old ultralight aircrafts, had no trim at all, or some just a metal tab to bend. I remember being a passenger on another one, two seater (not the minimax, even simpler) that had no ailerons either, both pedals and yoke controlled the rudder. So you can imagine, inside cockpit trim is already something fancy!
