I was only connected as an observer and therefore not real weather in use, and the reason for that was that I looked at the preview of the weather and decided that I wanted to be sure to at least see more than 4 aircrafts at a time. I got the code of conduct rules as first comment on VATSIM's FB page, so I am not taking any chances. Made me read the code of conduct, and you are encouraged to use real time weather, but you need to meet a minimum requirement of having the winds, temperature and pressure as real life, so you can have clear skies during a storm as long as you have those 3 components, and it is not often I go into a proper long reply to those comments, but in this case I did it. The VATSIM network would be reduced quite a bit if the supervisors had info about your simulators weather. Sometimes it's best to think your replies through entirely before commenting in a way where you are confident to be correct.
