Just overnight, nothing changed. I have lost the ability to have the VOR or ILS freq's move or do anything to the CDI's in all planes. All payware and all default planes. The TDS GTN 750 will only allow the CDI's to work in GPS mode but the CDI indicator ignores it when I'm in VLOC, I just have flags everywhere like there's a power loss, all planes.

Just using the simplest planes with no GPS whatsoever and tuning the radios does absolutely nothing, off flags on the CDI.

This is a new install of 2024, like two weeks maybe and everything was fine. 

I had previously typed out all the settings in General and etc, not one had been changed.

I'm at a total loss now, does anyone have any ideas?

If you’re using Xbox App, did you quit and restart?

(It has never happened to me in MSFS, and I’m also hearing of a such an incidence, across the board, for the first time.)

OFF flags on the VOR indicators on all planes, default and payware.

I didn’t quit and restart the Xbox app but I will.

Oh…OK. As if they are not detecting any LOC/GS signals…

Try lifting off your familiar KBOS airport to some altitude, after tuning your NAV1 Radio frequency for the applicable runway, e.g., on the (default) Cessna 172.

Tried that. Nothing but off flags. 

Hmm…I leave it to the other (knowledgeable) folks here, for a bit…

Could it be something in DEV mode menu because I occasionally use it to check FPS. I’m afraid I’ll have to do a complete reinstall.

I’m going to post a more thorough explanation with screenshots here.

Here is what I sent Tiberiu at TDS GTN, however, it's not just the TDN, it's any default plane without a GTN, just even radios, nothing gets sent to the VOR indicator.

I load the A2A Comanche and start it up.

Before I click on the GTN I have the red/white crosshatched flags on the VOR indicator Showing “NAV” and “GS.”

When I click Continue on the GTN I get CDI deflection and G/S deflection.

When I click on Continue the third time I get both flags.

When I put in a valid VOR freq, 112.70 for NAV KBOS, it shows NAV BOS in the window and in VLOC mode it does not send a signal to the VOR.

If I type in the ILS for the KBOS runway I’m on, 110.70 is shows it’s the correct ILS.

And when I transfer the ILS freq to Active, it does nothing.

But if I enter a GPS airport from NRST and select the magenta GPS on the GTN it will drive the VOR.

Hello Jack,

I have just tested your exact scenario and the A2A's HSI is displaying correctly when in VLOC mode.

I am afraid that the issue may be someplace else, as when the TDS GTNXi is in VLOC mode, we do not override the HSI, whatever MSFS sets the AVars, the A2A HSI will show, so it never goes through us.

So the same thing happens in a WT equipped GNS aircraft?

Are you sure the VOR freq is correct?

What navdata are you using?  Default or navigraph?

Yes. All planes from the Fenix, to the PMDG, to a basic default aircraft.

It could be a NG bug.  Have you tried removing navigraph and seeing if it works?  I will also try to tune a VOR in the PA24.  112.70

Tried tuning VOR’s from dozens of airports.

 I’m trying to unload everything from my community folder but my organization doesn’t allow it. Frustrated as $&@:/

Yeah it's working fine here.  Have you tried uninstalling Navigraph?  Sometimes they introduce weird bugs.  In the past I've not seen any airports on my G3X Garmin, it was due to a NG bug.  That does sound very annoying.
