Connection to Internet lost, but I still have Internet

Featured Replies

Im using the same Internet that my flight sim uses to make this post. Yet I'm looking at my monitor and it says connection to network lost. This happened during a long haul flight.

Normally it would reconnect, but this time it obviously didn't. Anyone else ever seen this?

Edit: it can't even "quit to desktop", had to kill it with task manager.

You didn't loose your internet connection, MSFS lost the connection to it's server. Instead of the message that there is no connection to the internet, the better message would be that it lost the connection to the MSFS server.

Would that be a user issue or did a lot of people also lose connection. Because after I killed it with task manager and started the game up, all was well.

Hi.

I know it probably will not help, but I have also had both msfs2020 and msfs2024 connection issues the last few days.  As with you it has been very temporary, (ending the session then trying again the connection was back and both would run fine).

So at the moment I am guessing it may be a small issue with the msfs servers?

Best wishes.

Bob

I'm experiencing the same thing today. Haven't seen this in a long time. My internet connection is great. Their servers must be having issues.
