It's real, the Cessna 172 is coming to MSFS from A2A!

From Lewis in the A2A forum:

Yep, I was wrong. 🤷‍♂️

At least there’s a super cool Lancair coming next to hold me over until they produce something spicier than base model econoboxes.

I’ll end up maining the Lancair, and the Comanche will more than suffice to cover the Skyhawks and Cherokee roles.

The up engined Aerostar turbo is only interesting if it’s offered as a significantly discounted upgrade to the current one. No way I’m paying full freight on it as I already have that well covered with the Piston Duke turbo & turbine.

In short, I realize this makes sense for THEM, but dang - they shoulda done this series right after the Comanche came out, especially since they already had the trainers fully developed in P3D.

that is, after all, what Scott himself calls the main advantage of AccuSim.

in retrospect, it tells me the Aerostar might not be as popular as they thought it was gonna be. Which is a shame because it’s a really interesting, fun, and challenging aircraft.
