May 1May 1 I have only recently gone to Win 11 and MSFS 2024 with the PMDG 738 and have spent the last ten days sorting out all my addons and hardware configurations. Today I played around with popping out the PFD, ND and ED displays from the VC onto my second screen, to see what kind of performance hit I would get. In all previous iterations of sims, including FSX and P3D, doing such an action would crash frames through the floor! I mean, really through the floor, in the area of 35-40% performance hit. I have always understood this to be a bug in the sim or something connected with the Windows OS and is a well documented issue. Clearly, this is not something I would even consider tolerating. But today... I couldn't believe what I was seeing, yes, there was a FPS hit, but it was minimal. After popping out the three displays, my frames went from 40fps to about 36fps! I couldn't believe it. This is great news, as I am thinking of building a new cockpit to include display panels. Could this be some kind of 'one off'? Maybe something was 'at play' that I didn't see. Is this because of Windows 11 or an unforseen benefit within 2024 itself. I'm wondering if others here have discovered this? I'd be interested to hear others' experiences with this. May 1May 1 I'm thinking of adding a display (or two) to my main screen and have held off until these sorts of issues get resolved. Keep us posted!!!

Hi, I run seven monitors off of one computer using pop-out-panel manager without issue. I'm hoping that aerosoft.com.au comes out with their glass screens to reduce the strain on the server computer sometime in the near future. https://aerosoft.com.au/ Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck
