May 8May 8 Hello, I installed the KJAC scenery (via the contrail app) for msfs 2020. However, one of the bizjets (at the FBO) has a pink texture. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, and can't solve this issue. Sent an email to the developer, but no response as yet. Any suggestions for a fix? It's just one of the static bizjets, eveything else in the scenery is fine (colorwise). Many thanks. Jermaine
May 8May 8 An easy fix for that if it is very bothersome is just to go into Devmode, start a new package, and draw an exclude rectangle around the static object. Then compile the package, put in your community folder, and the static plane will be gone. Otherwise it's hard to deal with, and also depends on if Dreamflight used an FS object or their own static aircraft object.
May 8May 8 Author Hello, Thank you so much for your feedback. I wish all developers included an option to remove the static aircraft. In a lot of instances, the amount of static aircraft is overkill. I will try your suggestion and see how it pans out. Still waiting on a reply from the developer. Jermaine

Have you tried re-downloading? Pink objects are typically due to a missing or corrupted file and every time I've had it happen with either payware or freeware airports, a fresh download has fixed the problem. For what it's worth, I have the Dreamflight KJAC and have no issues with it in either 2020 or 2024. Scott
May 8May 8 Author Hello, Yes, I uninstalled and re-installed a few times via the contrail app. I have a few of their sceneries (including the updated KTEB scenery) and no issues previously. That is why it's puzzling. Hopefully the developer will provide feedback to the email I sent. Jermaine
May 11May 11 Author Hi all,' So I reached out to Contrail's support team. They did some testing on their end and confirmed the pink texture issue. They reached out to the developer (Dreamflight) and apparently, there's a conflict with the new KTEB v2 scenery (which I have installed as well). They will update the KTEB scenery, and the issue should be resolved. Jermaine

Glad you were able to get help to nail down what was going on and that things will soon be resolved. Scott
