May 10May 10 Howdy folks: I installed FS2024 this weekend. I built 2 profiles for my hardware (keyboard, yoke, throttle, joystick, etc.) - named "A" & "B" under both "General" and "Airplane Controls". If I select profile A for all hardware and exit the sim, the next time I load the sim, the profiles that loaded previously (A) are now all mixed up. Some of the hardware is loaded profile A others are set to B. Sometimes general is A and airplane controls are set to B. How do I keep the same profile loading every time I load the sim and change only when I go into controller settings and change them? Thanks! A. May 10May 10 Profiles are loaded on a per aircraft basis. So if you've set up a throttle quad profile with throttle, prop and mixture for use in a Bonanza, and another profile with Engine 1 and Engine 2, for jets, MSFS2024 will load the one that you set while that plane was loaded. Therefore, if you had one aircraft loaded when using "A", then switched to "B"...... then loaded the sim again in that first aircraft, the sim will automatically load "A" again. This is a terrible explanation! 😄 - I'm sure there's a better way to explain it! It's not as complicated as I've made it sound. TL:DR - In case you didn't know, 2024 automatically loads controller profiles on a per aircraft basis. May 10May 10 You can open up the profile settings and click to apply that profile to all aircraft.
