HTTP Error Downloading Airport File

Spawned into KPSP and couldn't figure out why I kept seeing the airport code show up in the PSXT interface, but then the message "No airport in sight".

I tried KPSP again about 7 hours later and still the same problem. Then without exiting the sim, I tried KLAX and KDEN and they both showed traffic just fine. It seems to be an issue with that particular file. Don't know if others are affected.

I thought there would be one log file with the three airports, but it seems that a new log file is created every time a new flight is started or the location changes (I am not sure which). I have three log files and they initial one shows the same error message as I pasted in earlier.

The log.txt is the last one, that one you should post.
You did not post the complete log.txt so I cannot see which version of PSXT you are running, but this message:

Download error: 'HTTP response code said error' for https://www.lekseecon.nl/downloads/MSFS2024/archive/thirdparty/INIBUILDS/KPSP.xml

Tells me that you did not run an airports scan, otherwise these links would point to the encrypted airport file .... /KPSP.enc. The .xml files are no longer in my on line archive.

So the solution to your problem is simple. Update to the latest PSXT, 15.1.2 at the moment, run a scan for airports and you will be up and runnin g again.

I am running 15.1.2. I will have to attach the log later. I ran an airport scan under 15.1.0, but may not have done so under 15.1.2, although I think I did so once I saw this error pop up.

Is there a file (or files) I should clear out to ensure that the .xml files aren't referenced?

Delete the contents of ../airports/my_thirdparty, but it should not be necessary.

I confirmed that the issue is in the ./airports/my_thirdparty folder. Here is the content of KPSP.txt:

YES! or just run a scan for airports.

Nico,

The spoiler function works differently in the new forum software. It is now hidden in the ”plus sign” dropdown list when editing. You probably need to edit the pinned post.

I missed the spoiler button in the "+" menu when I wrote my response (thank you @SierraDelta !). I did try to look for it, but as I had said, I was unable to find it.

I will try the rescan to see if the my_thirdparty file for KPSP is correctly repopulated, even though it was rescanned in the last few days anyway. If the file isn't correct, I will try deleting the contents and trying again. I will then report back.

It won't be until next week, though.

I was able to get onto my computer to test the re-scan process. I saw that the files in the ./airports/my_thirdparty/ folder were cleared when I pressed the scan button and they started repopulating as the airport scan progressed. At the end, I opened up the KPSP.txt file that was created 10 minutes ago and these are its contents: "archive/thirdparty/INIBUILDS/KPSP.xml" - just as before.

For airports that do not have a version attached, like INIBUILDS KPSP, I forgot to make the change from .xml to .enc.
Stupid of me. But now fixed.

Please download 15.3.0 from my web site, and re-install.
