June 7Jun 7 Hi Everybody,I cannot for the life of me figure out how to adjust the lights for XP10 aircraft. I'd like to reduce these lights by two thirds. Anyone here familiar with XP10 settings that can lend a hand?Thanks# Generic light: v10 - componentsLIGHT_PARAM_DEF airplane_generic_core 5 ZERO ZERO_ NEG_ONE INDEX SIZEBILLBOARD_SW airplane_generic_core ZERO ZERO_ NEG_ONE INDEX SIZE 1 6 5 0 0 -0.8 0.2 sim/graphics/animation/lights/airplane_generic_light_flashLIGHT_PARAM_DEF airplane_generic_glow 5 ZERO ZERO_ NEG_ONE INDEX SIZEBILLBOARD_SW airplane_generic_glow ZERO ZERO_ NEG_ONE INDEX SIZE 1 4 6 0 0 -1.206 -0.206 sim/graphics/animation/lights/airplane_generic_lightLIGHT_PARAM_DEF airplane_generic_flare 5 ZERO ZERO_ NEG_ONE INDEX SIZEBILLBOARD_SW airplane_generic_flare ZERO ZERO_ NEG_ONE INDEX SIZE 4 2 0 0 0 -28.57 -27.574 sim/graphics/animation/lights/airplane_generic_lightLIGHT_PARAM_DEF airplane_generic_sp 6 R G B INDEX SIZE WIDTHSPILL_SW airplane_generic_sp R G B INDEX SIZE 0 0 -1 WIDTH sim/graphics/animation/lights/airplane_generic_light_spill Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck
June 8Jun 8 There's parameters named "SIZE" and "WIDTH", so that's probably what you're looking for. Mind that light parameters set in the aircraft's OBJ override what's in lights.txt. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

Wednesday at 07:55 AM4 days Throwing this here as seems useful but not sure if actually suits your purpose. https://x-plane.to/file/436/intentcities-light-controls-x-plane-12https://forums.x-plane.org/files/file/82888-flywithlua-ng-next-generation-plus-edition-for-x-plane-12-win-lin-mac/Above requires LUA scripting. is full SDK light creation info. From what I'm understanding so far... You need to create your own lights and get the plane to reference them.. Not sure you can edit existing lights... https://forums.x-plane.org/forums/topic/281535-xp12-object-lights-for-aircraft/Finally.. Someone asking for the same info a couple years back. Good luck! If you succeed we'd love to know how 🍀🤞😎 Russell Gough SE London

I'm IP barred from the org due to an issue with Nick so going there is out. I know I can use a vpn but, can't be bothered with that site! The issue is with the zibo mod taxi lighting. It is actually brighter than the landing lights, it's way too wide and the length of the light actually shines on a building at klax when sitting on a runway. All the other lights I've been able to figure out, this one is just being a pain. Thanks for the help! The above sugestion is one thing I didn't consider, I'll have to look into that. XP12 CD setup for lights makes things so much easier to setup. Thanks Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck
