Cessna Citation Sovereign+ tiller and rudder

Featured Replies

Love this plane and have just updated to version 1.0.4.

Here is my issue. I do not have separate tiller and rudder selected in the settings option.

When taxing to the runway and taking off, the tiller and rudder work as expected using my rudder pedals (which do not have a toe brake)

However, when I land that flight, both the tiller and rudder are unresponsive, and I have no control over them with my rudder pedals.

Assume that something I do (or not do) locks the tiller and rudder.

Can anyone help me resolve this.

Thanks

Hi, disable yaw damper on ground. I had similar issues but with my joystick, with Y/D on, I couldn't steer the nose wheel.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense - will give it a try on my next flight. Many thanks.

If you have an AP disconnect button mapped, make sure you are using 'Autopilot Off' as that will also disengage the YD....

That's even more interesting as I do have an AP disconnect button mapped, and always turn the autopilot off before landing. Have just not noticed as to whether that also disconnects the yaw damper as you suggest. Will try another flight tomorrow and report back. Thanks
