No aircraft moving on the ground

Featured Replies

First time flying today in over a month. But all of a sudden there is no aircraft moving on the ground. They are parked at the gates and full traffic when in the air, but there is no one taxiing or taking off.

What airport? Did you try restarting PSXT?

Then maybe the real live aircraft move without their transponder on? SOP?

I'm experiencing the same thing at LEPA Airport.

Airplanes land and then disappear from the runway. However, since version 1.5.6.1, no airplanes have been taxing to the runway anymore.

This ENGM and LGSA, there was plenty of aircraft moving on FR24. And on these airports it is normal to have transponder on until the gate

That's nonsense... sorry. At EHAM and KATL everything was fine yesterday.

You only can talk about what you see.

This has nothing to do with version 15.6.1 or whatever. That part of the code has not changed at least for years. It all depends on whether you receive data from RT.

If using the RT App, make sure you have set in the RT app, in standard settings, PSXT (MSFS and P3D) , and not Spotter mode.

I just checked out Realtraffic coverage map now and ENGM and LGSA dont show any traffic on ground, while I can see traffic on ground at flightradar. While some other airports is showing ground traffic.

Seems like there is an issue with Realtraffic then, but only for some airports

Yes that's well known, some airport have no good ground coverage. You can check my archive lists. If an airport has a low real Qf ther is probably not much ground traffic.

Yes, at least ENGM is good in terms of ground coverage and have had no issues with ground traffic there until now. But looking at the Realtraffic coverage map again now it looks like it is working again now, and this was just a temporary issue with RT.
