Monday at 08:54 PM1 day When changing views I've been getting a warning that I've never had before. It pops up for a second or two then goes away. No issues completing the flight.warning scene change detected without reset flag developer may have to fix this!No clue where this came from and googling didn't give me much. I just did a DDU reinstall with the latest Nvidia drivers. It fixed the stuttering I've been having since SU5 but now I can't change views without getting this warning. It's not specific to any plane. Any ideas? I've cleared out the various caches and tried reinstalling the drivers. It happens whether it's using addons or default everything. Google wasn't much help. Monday at 09:36 PM1 day Not seen this before. Long shot but do you happen to have dev mode enabled? Monday at 09:40 PM1 day Author Nope not in dev mode. I just tried disabling FG and the error went away so I wonder if something is broken with the beta and FG. Still weird I'm the only one getting this message. I am running DLSS preset M.Edit: Also remains in the SU5 build. So it looks specific to FG. 10 hours ago10 hr The "Scene change detected without reset flag" message is a standard MSFS SDK/DevMode warning. It appears when the simulator's engine undergoes an abrupt render state change without a prior "reset" signal. For developers, this means a custom code script, visual effect, or third-party camera switch altered the scenery state improperly. For players, it's often triggered by unstable mods or camera transitions. [1, 2]If you are a Player/End-User:Check the Mod Folder: This warning often flags a corrupted or outdated mod. Empty your Community Folder and test the game to see if the issue persists. [1, 2, 3]Avoid Camera/Plane Switching: Toggling between planes, drone cameras, or developer teleport tools while your flight is active often forces unflagged scene changes. [1]Verify Game Files: If using Steam, right-click MSFS, go to Properties > Installed Files, and select Verify Integrity of Game Files to fix any broken core files. [1]
2 hours ago2 hr Author It looks like verifying the game files might have fixed it. 2 files were corrupt. I'll test further in the morning but a quick test just now and the error didn't come up when changing views. 5800x3d Asus 4090 ROG Strix OC 2TB SSD 32GB Ram
