I have just paid for and downloaded MSFS2024 and then RUN and all the other downloads finished and I continued to RUN and then exited.

I cannot find how to run it again. I cannot find a shortcut on my desktop. If I enter MSFS2024 in the 'type here to search' it finds nothing.

I do not understand. MSFS2020 caused me no problems.

Do I have to run it from Xbox and not a desktop shortcut?

Within the XBOX application find and RMB the MSFS 2024 icon, select “Manage” and there you will see the option to “Create Desktop Shortcut”.

Moving on I wonder which of the folders is the Community Folder where I can copy 3rd party freeware stuff to.

A youtube tutorial shows how to find it but there is only one folder named Community displayed in that tutorial.

I have two , Community and Community2024. What is the difference?

I also have an Official and Official2024 folders.

Just use the Community folder.. and leave the other one empty.

Actually Official2020 and Official2024.

The first one, I use to copy over 2020 aircraft that I would like to fly in 2024.

The second one is used by MSFS to store downloaded items vs streamed items.
