Also - some nice JustFlight XP12 planes on sale, I rage bought the Warrior II today for $20 after getting mad at another sim which is nice but very slow vs a 737.

Which in my case seems to be hours of endless joy getting so called anti-piracy locks undone (a cheap version of 2 factor authentication it is) as the activation fails (does not connect) or count exceeded or something like that. Not to mention useless messages to developers saying - it worked you updated it now it does not work any ideas? Not singling any folk out across the board. It is the software they are using in the backroom - same problems with other commerce generally at the moment.

Between outdated SASL code and Skunkcraft updates being as slow as a wet week - very Linux dist flav dependent. Takes forever and some things are best left undone unless it is a major variant update

still not all bad two days later two problem childs have resolved and now function - I can go back to worrying about more mundane things in life - like

Well, Coastaldriver, I can sympathize for sure!

I’ve had a frustrating couple of flight sim days (which are admittedly not the biggest deal in the world in the grand scheme of things, but annoying!).

I wanted to buy that other sims latest GA toy, but the sim itself was frustrating me with bleached out orthos and generally being a pain. I DID buy a on sale aircraft from a good developer for XP12 and the silly thing porpoises up and down trim-wise, and my favorite - stutters in both primary sims!

I’ll ramble about it more in that list the spark thread in a moment, but I’m going back to “all default” XP12 and the other sim too!

I uninstalled (moved to a folder) all add ons and just took the default 737-800 on a wonderful short trip, then did similar in the other sim.

You could join me, we could become flight simulation philosophers.

Off to rant in that thread now… 😂
